Who areTalk Business?


Talk Business UK began its journey in 2010 as the Stratford Business Forum, founded by husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Cathy Smith.

​

With South African born Jonathan’s passion for connecting people and witnessing the ‘business magic’ unfold at networking events, the Forum quickly became a hub for businesses and charities in the Stratford-upon-Avon region, winning the West Midlands Business Award for Best Networking Group a year after launching.

​

Talk Business UK grew from this foundation and is now holding diverse networking events across many regions. 

​

We still have members who joined the network 16 years ago attending meetings.

We believe in being completely transparent about how our events are structured.

Membership

Your membership gives you access to the Talk Business UK network and our programme of events and opportunities.

Event costs

Most events include a separate venue or food cost. (Talk Business Café no cost to attend for members).

​

Where food is provided by the venue, there is an additional event fee to cover this. This is a direct pass-through cost set by the venue and is not included in membership.

​

This approach allows us to work with a wide range of venues and create different types of events while keeping membership accessible.

VISITORS: You are welcome to attend two events across the network and then membership is required to continue coming to meetings.​

We do not ask for more money if you want to network in a different area! Once a member of Talk Business UK you can move around the region and attend our different open events, as many times as you want!
